Woo hoo. Got my bum out of bed at 6:30 this monring and took the dog with me for a run/walk outing in the foothills. Spent 40 minutes on the trails doing this one-minute-run/one-minute-walk thing. It wasn't too bad. I don't know how many miles I did but it was enough to make me NOT WANT TO SMOKE today, or ever again. Came home and weighed myself on the Wii - lost a lb - 198. But the best part was my body test. I couldn't get that "Fit Age 64" out of my head from yesterday so I decided to give it another run today. Good strategy - my Wii Fit age today was 38!!!!! Now that's more like it. So, rather than dribble on about how impercise the Wii is as a measurement tool, I am just going to keep the number 38 in my head and be happy about it. Way to go Wii.
That was a great start to the day. Now, I just came back form my second interview with the company I have been trying to get into for the past 6 months. Hopefully all of that fresh air and healthy glow helped me to present myself in the best possible light. I am hopeful to receive a job offer by the end of the week. (Today is Tuesday.) Think god thoughts, think good thoughts, think good thoughts. (tee hee, I just noticed that I said God instead of good. I think I'll leave it. It never hurts to inlcude him in the picture.)
Smoking: I had NONE yesterday. I am kind of craving one at the moment but holding strong.
Alcohol: I had NONE yesterday. It's a milk and cookies thing with me. As soon as I have a drink I am going to really want a cigarette.
Fitness: I never got around to the ab exercises yesterday. But I did do the shoulder exercises, I walked 2 miles and I ate well. No sweets entered my mouth. Lost a lb. Yep, a pretty good day.
